Nissan Z's are NOT good winter cars here in Minnesota. Snowy roads in a 400hp RWD sports car with summer performance tires and low ground clearance just don't work. Normally here , one can count on putting the car in the storage garage on a Battery Tender until March at the earliest. We had a little snow in January, but over the last couple of weeks it's been 40°F with no snow and dry roads....yesterday it actually rained (it actually rained on Christmas day, which I have never seen in 40 years. For the first time in 40 years of living here I got the Z out in January and February. Very, very weird, but welcome as I only had a few hundred miles on my 2024 Z that I bought in November. Weird, but welcome.

Dont jinx it!! Its the same in NY, few shitty weeks but its been pretty nice overall. Ive had my car out more this winter than any other year previously i think. Usually there's so much salt & sand on the roads I park my car until mid April lol.

The car is not good in the rain either. Thank goodness for my Jeep Wranglers.

Both of my 370Z's did well in rain..even with the OEM Potenzas, even better with the subsequent Michelins. OTOH, neither tire is even close to being driveable with even a dusting of snow and I'm absolutely confident my 2024 Z will be no better. Normally I'd be driving my pickup truck this time of year.

I had plans to put my Z away this winter but jah happy is right. It’s been “so far so good” here in NY. I used to love the snow as a kid but not anymore . I drove the Z around this week and it’s been great!

I run snow or all-season tires in Colorado, but I avoid running my Zs over heavy snow, as it's not a reliable or safe experience.

It’s been a fairly mild winter in the DMV area. A few weeks ago it snowed twice in 1 week. After that I’ve had some nice days to drive the car and after tonight, I’m at 1072 miles. Sticking to the recommended 1200 mile break-in and after that I will finally get to redline lol.

Hope you keep having a weird winter!

I have Pilot Sport all seasons and they have been great in the rain. Highly recommend

It's going to be 60 today in the North East. The Z was put away for the winter but I'm sitting in a car wash line right now...feels weird on Feb 10th.

I'll be switching to the PS4's as soon as these OEM's wear out. Don't really need all-season tires...strictly a non-winter car. Except in a super-El Niño year, apparently.
