Stillen Trucontrol vs. Racechip GTS

Anybody else tried Racechip? It’s identical with 7 maps with Bluetooth control, and costs less.

Other than a check engine light, I don’t see a major benefit of the Stillen. I put it in my 24 Heritage. Results were less than expected.

Check engine light? Probably should double check the connections.

Overboost codes. Ran fine for a few days in sport, but when I put it in race mode threw the code. Likely too much flow past 2nd O2 w AWE exhaust.

In general mine is either off or in sport mode. I only set it to race occasionally

Won't Stillen update the tune as you add stuff for free? Seems like I remember that.

According to Will they will send you updated MAPs

Mines never thrown a code, the only other mod I have is a Nismo Street cat back exhaust. I don’t have down pipes or high flow intakes.

I read this as well on the Stillen site when I ordered it - and I provided a list of my cars setup for the initial order. I never got any acknowledgement or confirm that it was ever 'tuned' for my setup though. Who knows?? I would update it if i coould get the file from Stillen - anyone know how to get it? Or, has anyone actually goten it?

That's the other thing I was going to mention. Stillen uses tuning pro app which doesn't even have an option to receive update through the app. Whereas it is an option for Racechip app as shown.
