I've been searching all sorts of wheel sites looking to change to a lighter wheel for my 2026 Sport Model. Every site is showing the same wheel sizing for the front and rear - 18 inch and 35 offset. But I am showing the rear OEM factory wheels are 15 offset ? No site out there is showing different sizing wheels for the rears, just four wheels with the same sizing for the most part. Even Tire Rack which historically gets all wheel sizing right is not showing a 15 offset for the rear rims of the Sport model. Are they making mistakes on the wheel sizes or are the wheels being recommended with 35 offset (same as the front) able to fit the rears ? I don't know if all of the wheel sites are wrong or if the rear wheels of the Sport model are not 15 offset ? If anyone has experience with this please let me know, thank you for any replies.

In case there’s confusion here, diameter and offset are separate and do not affect one another. Offset and width are tied together.
Example: 18x9.5” and 18x10” wheels, both with +15 offsets, will fit differently.

Yes , thank you, that makes sense and I understand how that can result in different fitments.

So the 15 offset of the factory rims sounds correct ? It is the info in the owner's manual but most wheel suppliers list the offset for front and rear as being the same for my model - Sport - when looking for sets of wheels , which is odd. Even the most reliable suppliers like Tirerack are not picking up on the fact that my car's rear rims are 15 offset. I've never had a car with such low offset, I wonder why Nissan put that on the Sport model ?

Yeah, not trying to man-splain offsets to you, just wanted to make sure it was clear.
I wouldn't go smaller to save weight, regardless of offset.
And of course, you can dig into a set of TE37's of BBS FI's if you want, but you don't have to go that far to save weight either. Your best solution here is to get well made wheels same width or a tad wider than OEM. If $ is a consideration, lot of companies are making good quality forged wheels that don't break the bank (Enkei over RAYS, for example).

On the Sport (currently MY23 to MY27) the wheels are 18x8, but different offsets front and rear.
Front: 18x9+35
Rear: 18x9+15
So the rears have more poke, 20mm or an RCH over 3/4".

Sport wheels (18x9+35F, 18x9+15R) compared to Perf (19x9.5+40F, 19x10+30R):
- Front Outer Lip: Perf pokes 2mm
- Front Inner Lip: Perf sits 12mm further in
- Rear Outer Lip: Sport pokes 2mm
- Rear Inner Lip: Perf sits 28mm further in

Sport wheels (18x9+35F, 18x9+15R) compared to NISMO (19x10+33F, 19x10.5+23R)
- Front Outer Lip: NISMO pokes 15mm
- Front Inner Lip: NISMO sits 11 mm further in
- Rear Outer Lip: NISMO pokes 12mm
- Rear Inner Lip: NISMO sits 27mm further in

People are putting 20mm spacers on Perfs with no issues. You have a ton of elbow room to work with picking out new wheels. Just watch your offsets. You don't want to spend money just to have them sit so far in that it looks like you're running 4 spare tires.

Stock Sport wheels are 18x9 +34 fr and 18x9 +15 rr. Dont know if the offsets have changed on the new '27 models. With the 5 spoke design, its the same from '23-'26.

Those websites probably didnt get the data sheet from Nissan. And since they are 18x9 all around, assumptions can be made they have the same offset of +34.

Even some Nissan Service Dept will rotate the wheels not knowing the offsets are different. In their documents and owners guide for the Sport trim, rotation shouldnt be done.

Thank you that is great information to know and as I search for other rims I will definitely need all that, good info to know I do appreciate the time taken to provide all of the details. Thanks.

Yes you are right a lot of wheel supplier sites have no clue that the Sport model rear offset is drastically different than the front, they seem to assume it is the same. You correct on that, and yeah rotating from the rear is not going to work on this model. Thank you. So I have to find one wheel that can be found in different sizes for front and rear, and new search is needed, thank you.

FWIW, The front sport wheels fit onto the rear and vice versa. The back obviously looks a bit funny when you do this, but there's no clearance issues. Just match your offset to the rears for a square setup and then add spacers to the rear as needed for looks.

don't use any of those wheel fitment suggestions

any site that forces you to use preformulated setups is already suspect
they are made by people who dont know anything about Z fitment

real companies give you a full size chart

Enkei has a ton of light options
and if you want to save money they bought Konig and vastly improved the quality

the Hypergrams are popular for cheap track wheels

Thank you , good advice. You are right about the listings used by some companies, they obviously do not know much about our cars. Enkei does have some good wheels, and they have some with 15 offset for the rears, that match higher offset for the fronts.
