Good to know if mine starts doing this.Figured it out. Lube this pivot point on both sides and the inside where you can see the bolt head that doesn’t turn while the piece it holds down is turning.

I used whatever was on the shelf at the closest store, Ace Hardware. Seems like it’s PB blaster or some really major brand. Make sure you put something behind where you spray, or even better use a dropper bottle. You can get it probably at Lowe’s in a dropper bottle that’s simple.Thanks @RobotAZ. I'll see what I can find. I thought i was the only one who noticed this. That noise in the early morning its driving me nuts. Mine has started squeaking again. I think it really is coming from behind the metal head that the plastic rotates around. It’s a metal on smooth plastic ticking sound and any movement causes it.
