Figured it out. Lube this pivot point on both sides and the inside where you can see the bolt head that doesn’t turn while the piece it holds down is turning.

Good to know if mine starts doing this.

Tbh though, when I saw the "SOLVED" part added, I was expecting the next uploaded image to be of the holder/retainer removed from the car.

What is the lubricant that you used? Just curious.

Something safe on plastic. I used silicone lube but read labels and make sure you’re comfortable.

I drive this car ... I don't listen to the noise ... unless the tires are squealing around a corner at 55+ mph, then I push the accelerator down more to see what it will do!

Thanks @RobotAZ. I'll see what I can find. Do you have a link to what you used?
I used whatever was on the shelf at the closest store, Ace Hardware. Seems like it’s PB blaster or some really major brand. Make sure you put something behind where you spray, or even better use a dropper bottle. You can get it probably at Lowe’s in a dropper bottle that’s simple.

Mine has started squeaking again. I think it really is coming from behind the metal head that the plastic rotates around. It’s a metal on smooth plastic ticking sound and any movement causes it.

I thought i was the only one who noticed this. That noise in the early morning its driving me nuts. On the way home I listen to music loud compared to talk radio on the way to work so I didnt notice it at first.
