OEM Dunlops dry rotted with 1300 miles 🫪

As the post title states, my OEM tires have dry rotted with 1300 miles on them. Maybe caused by the dealer I bought he car from moving it after storing outside for winter. I had the wheels stored inside since February. Local dealer said they can't warranty.

Date code on the tires is 44/24.

My rears are 09/24 and fronts are 21/24.
All good so far.

My truck (that I park outside) looks like that after a couple years. They are fine.

Only worry if you start getting shakes or tires become malformed.

I have had tires explode so I am not one to take risks haha. Sidewall failed on cheap tires I had on my 350z.

I trust Michelin more anyways after I had a piece of rebar go through my wheel. Tire held pretty well with explosive depressurization. 666M wheel for anyone wondering

I don't blame you, Michelins are going to be way better anyways. My truck has the stock Hankook's on them from when I got it 4 years ago. If I still have the truck in a couple years (probably wont) I will be getting something different.

Dealers can't do much on the OEM tires, but you can contact Dunlop directly and send pics if you are concerned. Better safe than sorry- worth asking the Mfr. Contact info should be in your manual packet and online.
They don't look too bad to me, but I don't live in a cold climate, so I could be completely wrong.
