And don’t forget about our RTA Tax (Regional Transit Authority).Wow, low taxes.
Even if we can get a Z at MSRP, our 11% sales tax would put us in the mid-60's for a Z Performance

Thats almost 13k more than I paid for my Supra out the door....
no one is getting 49k unless you can get the car without paint lolWe are way off the $49K all the YouTubers state we can get the car for. I cringe every time I hear that.

$49k is for the dream; $60k is realityno one is getting 49k unless you can get the car without paint lol
Is anyone selling one for $60k right now? I might be willing to get there.$49k is for the dream; $60k is reality
Fact is I have a really good relationship with this dealership and the salesperson. I was told they are at 1% of Normal inventory so they are just trying to make it up anywhere else they can. In fact they originally wanted to add 5k worth of dealer add on's called performance package (bullshit) they removed this after I told them there is no way in Hell I would take a Limited edition proto spec with dealer BS add on's. Sounded like they are hurting financially...but no one cares about car dealership anyway right!$49k is for the dream; $60k is reality
my buddy went out of state to a small town in Mass and got his Bronco sasquatch edition for msrp but drove it back to miamiPaying $65k is similar to how many have paid $10k+ on other vehicles. I personally know 3+ people who have paid more then $6k+ MSRP on USED Supra's, and $10k-$20k for the new Bronco (neighbor paid $80k for 4door Bronco Wildtrak).
From the select few who are on the forums we'll def try to pay at or less then MSRP, but that'll be near impossible in the current environment...
$60k is what Dealers will sell the Sport/Base Z ($49k) for when they come in as those will probably come later...Is anyone selling one for $60k right now? I might be willing to get there.
Yea, my buddy says the same thing. He has to sell each new car for what he would be selling 5 cars combined for in profit last year. All the dealers around me are owned by the same group so they're all going to add atleast $1k of Manufacturer add ons plus $2k of "Dealer Protection Package" (Bs items such as $500 non uv window tint, $200 wheel locks, $150 rear bumper PPF) all of which you can get outside for +50% off.Fact is I have a really good relationship with this dealership and the salesperson. This is what I did for last 3 cars (-Tesla). But, in this market, we'd have to go 3-6 months after an actual Z hits dealer lots to get lucky as your buddy has. I'm all for out of town purchases!my buddy went out of state to a small town in Mass and got his Bronco sasquatch edition for msrp but drove it back to miami
yea im lucky i wasted so much dam time at the dealer i ended up out the door 57k for the supra after they were like well it has a 10k markup..i was like fuck it u leave that 600 dollar toyo guard on there lol$60k is what Dealers will sell the Sport/Base Z ($49k) for when they come in as those will probably come later...

Majority of dealers are marking up their used cars since their new car inventory is low, but that doesn't mean they are hurting per se. They're getting additional time in their inventory purchases (more time to pay off the cars), plus further incentives to add on insurance and even their financing options (minimum 10bps increase to what rate they get from banks) from Nissan themselves.

OMG. The Consumer Protection Bureau would have a field day with that if they knew....and even their financing options (minimum 10bps increase to what rate they get from banks) from Nissan themselves.
didnt kia or Hyundai get in trouble for something like thisOMG. The Consumer Protection Bureau would have a field day with that if they knew.
That means a 4.5% buy rate would be 14.5% contract!
"I'm sorry, but that's the best rate I can get you now. The Fed raised the rates on everything last month."
Scumbags...
Perfect incentive to get your financing at a credit union.
I was planning to get one for my wife to replace her Mini. As this has dragged-on and the price has increased, I'm now considering other options. It's a lot of money for a Z, especially when you consider other options for $65k. My other concern is that if I pay an ADM and the values potentially drop as the supply chain eventually improves, I don't want to be out $30-35k in a couple years. At the end of the day, only you can make that decision. After I paid my deposit my final price populated per salesperson. OMG. 65k for a Z seems insane! What else could I buy for that amount? Is it worth it?? Thoughts?

Unfortunately the others options out there for a Manual are so limited nowI was planning to get one for my wife to replace her Mini.
