thing about it, a cool car will definitely make you feel a lot younger...

...just ask all those old dudes buying vettes
The Vette forum is a cranky place. It’s not as crazy as the Jeep forum, but it’s damn close.

My first and only was the Z33. Ever since then I've wanted to build a 240Z. One day...

Nice! If you do build a 240Z please DON'T put an LS in it! Stick with true JDM roots. My RB26 has been reliable and plenty of power already even with just a light tune.

100% would stick with a Nissan engine. Probably a VQ37VHR. If I'm feeling froggy I'd jump for an RB.

In my head I still feel in my early 20s, I’m always disappointed when I am rudely awakened by my mirror reflection….or when my knees tell me the rain is coming ?
I feel this so hard. Between that and a bit of imposter syndrome I always feel like I don't have the knowledge or the life skills I should for someone my age. And I feel like that's only going to get worse as I get older until I either die or just don't care anymore.

It used to bother me, too, but now I take it as a compliment. Perspective is everything
I do see it from that POV as well. It can just be annoying at times. A few years ago I was at the movie theater with a friend and I forgot my ID at home. The employees wouldn't let me get tickets for a R-rated movie. I was like, "I'm 29". He replied with a "sure you are, no ID, no tickets".

Hey this is why you'll get behind the wheel of the new Z, bring some of those early years back!

29 now. New Z will be my first brand new Z. Bought CPO 2012 Z when I was 22. Drove my uncles 350z and 300zx prior to that many times and got into VQs when I bought my 05 G in 2009.

I'm 33 and I'm still getting carded. I have people walking up to me and asking if I was 14 and where are parents.
Just wait till they STOP carding you.
