Does anybody know if the Nismo spoiler, 3-piece and nicely deeper than the Performance's (below), bolts in the same way, i.e. single bolt for the main spoiler? The two end pieces I imagine are 3M stuck on.

No. I had the trim off, it looks like the main OEM Nismo wing is held on by plastic pop clips and at least 4 flange nuts that fasten to studs through holes drilled through the hatch. The side brackets have clips and (I believe) 4 rivets on each side which attach the trim pieces to the brackets. The 3m heavy duty double sided tape is only for waterproofing and keeping dirt out… But it does keep that wing stuck down! Ask Z1 motorsports as they sell all those OEM parts at vast expense and shoukd link you to the install instructions… if you show ā€œinterest in buyingā€ them.

Get in touch with @Mellowyellow as he posted about a Greddy spoiler from Vivid Racing that was 1/2 the price of OEM Nismo and looked really nice IMO. I don’t have that link handy.

I was sourcing the setup last yr. I was lookingwhat it would cost to buy the 3 piece from Z1. There is a bracket to secure the winglets to the qtr panel. Might be able to just use double side 3M tape

Youre looking over $2k for the setup

That's not worth it if the only option, I'd rather spend the $2 elsewhere on susp parts.

I asked the parts guy at my local dealership (AZ) over a year ago he quoted me about 2k plus the install. also for two additional parts will require holes drilled into the body, so no going back.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but could someone with a Nismo take a picture of the Nismo spoiler side brackets installed in the car from the hatch side?

I'm installing a spoiler with side pieces and contemplating using the OEM Nismo brackets but I'm not sure how they are indexed or how they interact with the rear hatch trim.

Also to add information to this thread, it looks like at least some of the stock performance spoilers get 4 bolts and 4 clips holding them on: 2023+ Nissan Z OEM Spoiler Install (Building my 2024 Nissan Z Ep.1)
