Has this been discontinued? It's available on some OEM sites, but Z1 says it's on backorder and CZP has a banner saying it's been discontinued.

14041-CRZ342, which replaced 14041-CRZ34

Assuming I go this route, has anyone had clearance issues with OEM and/or aftermarket strut bars? If so, would spacers under the bar mounts solve this? (aluminum plate, 0.25", 0.375", whatever).

Checking my warehouses and according to either of those numbers it’s no longer available, not back ordered, just up and gone can’t get them period. And it’s not listed any longer on the accessories website on my end, just strut braces.

Interesting. Maybe I won't be going that route.
Thanks!

No problem. It could be either a supply chain issue or they’re hoarding them for the 26-27 nismo production. Like they’re now offering the 24 heritage decals but you can’t order them. And the 240Z inspired heritage front bumper. It could be a restricted part and there’s not much that can be done about it.

I was the person who did the real world testing for NISMO on compatibility for the engine cover and NISMO strut

those 2 together had issues with rubbing especially under hard load or on track.

I ended up selling my cover and keeping the strut

So it works with the factory bar, but not the NISMO bar? Actually planning (or planned) for both. Could whip up some billet or plate spacers (most likely plate) in a jiffy. But if I can't get the cover that sucks.

That would make sense if there’s a fit issue when there shouldn’t be one, that would make them wanna pull it so they can get it fixed.
My wholesale rep was just talking about that when I brought this up to him this morning and he mentioned exactly this.

adjustment can help but the compatibility issue is the cut out in the mold isnt quite wide/deep enough for the NISMO shape bar when there is movement under load. The NISMO engine cover was based on an existing mold for a Infiniti Q project car so im not sure the flatter wider NISMO strut was developed when this mold was made. you might have not noticed yet especially if you just daily drive it but under hard driving it will definitely dig into the clear coat of that engine cover right around where the NISMO logo is. putting a piece of weather strip or 3M tape along the front edge of the strut bar will help mitigate this. Ive seen guys take the strip off them OEM engine cover and just use that

I'd like an engine cover of some sort that leaves my Mishimoto intercoolers exposed.

Thousands of miles later still looks good. But it did rub when first installed. That's when I adjusted both. I'm aways checking.

Wouldn't help resale value but can't you just cut it? My Z1 cover didn't fit great either, especially with my TruControl wiring, so I just took a Dremel to it to make more room.

I thought about it, but after my downpipe wrap job you can see about how artistic I am. I have the stock cover on now, just thought it was be neat to have cutouts so they're visible without having to see the ugly intake manifold.
