Same. I love classic Z cars but really never liked the 350 or 70. The new Z grabbed my attention immediately.I definitely prefer the looks of the new Z especially from the rear.
Does that 350 have a sticker that says LS inside? If it does... nice.
Why is that? I always liked the looks of the 350, and I loved the exhaust note of the my G35 (was the 350Z similar?), but I love the modern digital dashboard in the Z and, of course the power. Why would you go for a new 350Z?Like my Z, but if I could get a new 350 like my original one, I'd trade in a heartbeat.
A lot of reasons, starting with it being Redline, modified with everything I wanted, didn't have a digital dash and electronic nannies, more useful storage space, more aftermarket stuff, etc, etc.Why is that? Actually one of the reasons I like the new Z is isn't as "digial dash"-y as a lot of newer sports cars. Have you seen the new Mustang? Looks like someone just glued two ipad's to the dash and that's it. It looks awful.A lot of reasons, starting with it being Redline, modified with everything I wanted, didn't have a digital dash and electronic nannies, more useful storage space, more aftermarket stuff, etc, etc.
Ouch. You should see my Evora...totally bare bones controls. Jeremy Clarkson said it looked like it was designed by a third-grader.Actually one of the reasons I like the new Z is isn't as "digial dash"-y as a lot of newer sports cars. The "upgraded" version it's just one big screen with black dead-space between the two.
Weird.

I feel the same way about the new Z. It's loaded with tech but it isn't obvious. The interior has retro vibes. 1990's is retro at this point right?Actually one of the reasons I like the new Z is isn't as "digial dash"-y as a lot of newer sports cars.
