New member from NYC (2nd Z) + CLA45 AMG

Hi everyone, my name is Matt I live in NYC. I’ve been lurking around the forum for quite some time. I purchased a 2024 Nismo Z last summer. It only has 3k miles due to me working so much plus it’s winter. I am not new to Nissan my first car was a red 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 V6 in manual full cat back stillen front bumper g35 wing. (I actually use to be on the old Nicoclub forums.) My second car was a black 2009 370z sport package. I traded that in for a black 2014 Cla45 AMG years ago which I still have and drive from time to time. It’s given me some problems, but I love that V. Before buying the Z, I was in between a Supra a Porsche boxer and a BMW M40i but the z turned out to be more adorable.

I have already done some exterior mods. I put the Fairlady z badge in the center because McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche etc does the same. I added the nismo badges to the side because I felt it was missing something and I’m use to Mercedes having turbo AMG badges on the side if their cars. I also added rays engineering stickers on the wheels because Audi R8 has something similar. (This is my “cosmetic” if I had my input from factory build.) I do plan to get a nismo track exhaust this spring intake etc.

Some personal facts, I am a trademark patent paralegal in nyc. If anyone needs IP work done I can arrange that. I also own my own car patent for a device.

Hopefully I will get to attend some meets this year, meet individuals etc., but it is a pleasure being here and I look forward to making some connections. Thanks for having me. Hopefully everyone can see both cars, and Happy Sunday, cheers.

Looks good! Surprised there's no replacement out there for the Nissan hood badge. Too much, with the side badges?

Looks great! Gotta say, I like the Fairlady in the middle! Done any other mods to put that gap cam to use?

I was debating lol I just ordered front matching skinnes it’s off to get powder coat
Me and mark will be doing some more revised
tuning for a bit more power. I have 0 regrets, the car is amazing and manual is so much fun, but I’m itching to get into another Gtr lol.
