I was speaking with the folks at ConceptZPerformance a few weeks back and they let me know they were working on an upgraded heat exchanger. It looks like it's out! It is made by CSF which is pretty well known. Based on their website it looks like they have an even larger coolant capacity than the AMS heat exchanger. I would love to see thermal tests - something like what Z1 did with their heat exchanger on the dyno.

It's currently on sale, and I am definitely eyeing it 👀

Has anyone snagged one and if so, what's your feedback?

P.S. - Another secret that's not so secret - they're working on an upgraded turbo kit with turbos from Garrett!

Have had this in my car for a couple weeks, I am placing an order most likely today for the CZP heat exchanger, CSF make great stuff so I am sure this will be a well made product.

Let us know how it goes! If you did a review of the product I'm sure lots of members would find that beneficial. I've reached out to CZP about posting on the forums, maybe when they wake up (Arizona) they will add some info!

Have a friend buy the CZP Heat exchanger as i recommended he try it out. Upon inspection, it looks thinner then the AMS, but larger in height. The build quality looks different too as the AMS is more flush with the welds then the CZP. All in all looks good, he's just waiting to get it installed

Side note: He has an AT, and has been experiencing greater heat soak then me (MT) for city driving.
I have the AMS Intercooler & Heat exchanger paired with the Z1 upgraded pump, city driving, i havent seen my temps go past 91°c on a +40°c day. While he sees 99°c on a 10°-15°c day

CSF does allot of stuff for the Porsche world and other luxury vehicles. Since these are made by CSF, I fully trust the quality and reliability. I am ordering one, and will get some pics during and after install, figure it will take a couple weeks to get them and have them installed.

Here's CZP's response, a little unfortunate but like kevinbonds said I would trust this as it's made by CSF and CZP has always been incredibly helpful to me both pre & post sale.
