It's in the factory spot and I think it's the windshield sensor but next time it happens I will remove the front plate to test your theory.

Right now it only seems to happen on hot days.

Yeah, so it looks like they used twist ties to put on the front frame because I bought it from an exotic dealership that probably thought they might sell to a province with no front plate.

So it looks like I have to move it up but I cannot see anywhere to bolt it to unless I use twist ties again.

PS. What does that sonar unit do, my parktronic seems to work ok.

I kinda love how the plate looks low down.

Anyone got a pic how theirs is bolted on ?

Quite honestly, further down looks sooooooooo much sleeker, that sensor works most of the time. I think I'm going back to the two twist ties it just looks so much better lower.

I'll post a close up when I have it back.

I wish the radar sensor had been high mounted so the plate could be where you've got it.

Up high it looks a bit like Tow Mater:

Funny part is I had that working on the weekend, I only got the error twice when it was really hot. Drove today, no errors so I will have to test the cruise again.

It does look better, but if you do much long distance highway driving I'd want the radar cruise to be working properly. It's pretty handy.
With a manual the cruise is pretty much useless anyways so I will take looks over function.
