Hello,
I came across "Motul 8100 0W-20 Power" which appears to be an excellent oil and I'm considering using it.
Other than the warranty concern and not displaying the API certification on the container, has anyone encountered engine performance problems after using it and do you agree that it is an excellent oil?
Your thoughts please.
Thank you!

Ive been using Motul "Asian Import" 0W-20 for the past 5k miles. No issues from it.

I've never ran 0w-20 however I've been running Motul 300V Power for years (370Z, Z4, Q50, Q70) 5w-30 and 5w-40. IMO it's the best oil money can buy.

I saw 8100 Power was just released not too long ago, I gave it a shot to try it out. It's not as "smooth feeling" as 300V (300V feels like nothing is in there) but it's still a pretty damned good oil.

Better than anything else on the shelf IMO.

All the above oils are excellent. I have used them all in the 350 I owned however I switched over to Amsoil signature series which has been tested to work excellent under extreme temperatures and is perfect for turbo engines. I did notice there studies were out performing Mobil 1 synthetic and other top brands. I never looked back from there.

Amsoil is good stuff!
I use Signature 0w-20 in my GR Corolla and Signature 5w-50 in my "Z" ( Z32.)
