This is what I found behind the passenger seat:

Anyone know what it is?

Is it worth putting on and does it improve performance or speed? Thanks!

@bpeckham to the rescue again posting this in the other thread.

I have debating removing mine as well so they don't scrape but I do like to do some spirited driving here and there so if it says it improves aerodynamics I am all for it.

However, the sport AND the Nismo do not come with these, or a front chin spoiler and we all know the Nismo is beefier than the Performance so make of that what you will if you want to install / keep these installed.

And yes your kit for those should have 2 bolts with it, you use one already installed under the car. if you remove the air deflectors then keep that one installed as described below.

Anyone know how to get the missing part from the bottom grill? When I bought the 2024 Z, I did not notice anything missing until recently. I called the Nissan dealership and they have no clue what I am talking about.

The missing grill part is on the passenger side. I believe the grill is supposed to be there when you are not installing the hook while on the race track.

All my accessories were in sealed package behind the drivers seat, along with the original window sticker.

I learn something new every time info gets posted. I had no idea, but will check my Z tonight when I get home. Really appreciate the knowledge in this forum.
I haven't installed mine just because we have some rough roads that may destroy these. They are still in the original packaging.

@ZillaZ Thanks again. I found the holes and mounted my chin spoiler. Otherwise it would still be sitting in my closet. bought a cheap HF riveter and used the largest nose piece marked 3/16. Took maybe 15min.

For what it's worth, my Sport has these installed. I know this because I drove a back road a few weeks ago that has seen better days and scraped something in a depression that was invisible in the shadows. After some cursing and a search for a safe spot to pull over, I looked under, expecting to see horrendous damage, but instead saw these two deflectors as the only possible low points. Relief came instantly. Reading these messages, I'm thinking of removing them as some of the roads here are horrible and I tend to have to crawl to avoid scraping.

Did you see 2 deflectors? It's kind of hard to see but in my post above (post #17) you can see the shorter deflector behind the one in front.

I didn't think the sport came with the second (longer) set but I could be wrong.

I'd say leave them on. They will scape occasionally, but now you know the sound, and you don't have to worry.

Well, maybe I'm misunderstanding then. I have two plastic deflectors, one in front of each wheel. Is that what you were referring to? (Photo below, pardon the resolution). No front lip or other deflector that I could see.

That looks like them. There are shorter ones behind those if you do decide to remove them.
