My Z NISMO is here!!! This really feels like the culmination of working so hard for 20 years in the Nissan enthusiast community. Having this car sit right beside the #1 GTR NISMO is just something I'm so proud of. My favorite Nissan I ever owned was my 2007 350Z NISMO. I only had it for less than a year before I left for the GTR world but it's just as awesome feeling to have the Z NISMO back! I enjoyed my 2023 Z and am glad I had it for 7 months as I feel I will have a better appreciation for the NISMO and the differences. Looking forward to something track and autocross next season.

I am debating about ordering the new JDM NISMO Titanium Strut bar, but I am a bit concerned it might not fit the US NISMO Carbon Engine Cover.

I also noticed the CF cover doesn't hide the two heat exchangers. I've received my cover, but haven't installed it. Did you have to do anything with yours?

The dealer swapped it out while I was doing my paperwork but yeah it's just the 6 bolts on the strut then 4 bolts on the oem cover. The nismo just sits down on the mounting points so no bolts required. There are yellow stickers on the heat exchangers you will want to peel off

It's a 10 min job. Speaking of that when the service department put my oem cover in my hatch and when I got home there was an invoice for $176 sitting under it. I laughed out loud. No one mentioned a charge for swapping it out and if they would have told me it would be even a $20 I would have said no thanks. No one ever said anything about it but there is no way in hell I'm paying that if it ever comes up

One of the guys at NISMO USA had the idea to reuse the Infiniti project black concept cover and that is how the NISMO cover was born

Wait, the CF cover has not bolt points? How is it secured, other than for gravity?

If you look under the oem cover there are these pegs that stick up in addition to the 4 bolts. The nismo just sticks down real tight on those peg points. You will see there is pushed down on when you look at the back side of your cover. Mine feels secure so far

Also there is a hard to see clear film over the NISMO you will want to pull off

Only from the Interior plastic piece where my traction control button is. 😡😡

Cover is on there very tight doesn't move at all. You can see how it's mounted here. There like these rubber grommets it pushes down on

Thanks. I am debating as to whether the Titanium is worth it, or go with the US aluminum version.

The US version also comes in black. There was a prototype of a red one they sent out to a tuner shop . If I picked one up it would be black

Do you happen to have the part number for the black one?
