if there are no issues with normal driving, then you don’t have a problem.

i agree with 5ths that your results will vary with how hard/soft that you stall the engine. i would never stall the engine on purpose - not a good idea on a good day.

I feel that. However, I just had to go to the dealership twice to get my infotainment fixed. Should've taken one attempt, but eh. No actual issues, warranty, so free. So that's nice. Let us know. Flutter the clutch on the edge and let it stall and let us know
Will do, they're pulling it around now...

You're right bro. I stalled it very lightly and you can BARELY hear the same sound. My PPF guy is/was a Z enthusiast (he's in an M3 now but used to drive Z's for a long time), and he says it's normal too. Due to major driver error (hard stall). He thinks it's the clutch shaking back and due to play in the drivetrain that Z's can be known for and normal...

Thank you all for the input. I feel better now and will just get better at driving my first manual transmission car! :cwl:.

You're exactly right about the variance. It must be normal. About the stalling, I'll get better at driving and stop doing this sh*t. Thanks for the reply! :fingerscrossed:

I learned how to drive a MT in a 350Z with a track clutch. That was difficult, but the plus side, you're going to be able to drive any manual car, truck, military truck, etc without any issues. You got it bro

Honestly, I could have been more polite, but I’m telling you what you need to know. You’re creating a bunch of shock to multiple mechanical systems and hearing them flop around out of their design range of operation. You’re lucky the car is solid enough to not be damaged from trying to figure out why it’s mad. Just stop beating it down and you’ll be fine.

Stalling a car never sounds good. When I was a teenager learning stick, I heard similar sounds when I stalled. I'm sure you're fine, just take your time releasing the clutch and you won't hear it anymore.

Thanks for your kindness. Yes, I'm not a very good MT driver. This is my first one

Thanks appreciate it. The nismo is great, but if it came in manual I would have gotten that instead. Good luck with the repairs :please:

I see what you're saying. The manual is fun but I enjoy auto as well. I have had all autos so far, so a change was due and this one was priced right. It was even a stretch purchasing it but I'm a car guy so yeah!

The Nismo they had where I got this one was black, though. I didn't like the black. Your color is right though. It "shows" a lot more of the body to me...
