Anyone in NC/VA area interested in a Manual Performance Z? My buddy Tim who owns Gunter Nissan in Martinsville VA just got this off the truck. Lists for 55.8K and he said he will do 54K plus TTL to a group member as he wants to move both his Zs by the end of the month to be able to qualify for a Special Edition Z later this fall. I think that 54K is right at invoice as it includes his doc fee and this car has a lot of the accessories according to the widow sticker. Tim is a good guy as he was instrumental in helping me in the GTR world back in the day.
He said for anyone interested call his General Sales Manager Leon 3363405935 tell them you are from the Z group and Matt sent you.
they also have a gunmetal auto with the red accent interior he is selling for around the same price

I feel like I'm watching every dealership cut their prices on these, making me a little nervous to pull the trigger even at 51.5
Is anyone part of a dealership that knows why exactly?

Prices are down because there are way more Z’s available to purchase now than this time last year. Even Honda Civic Type Rs are finally going for MSRP now that the demand relative to the supply has leveled out.

The hype for Z’s is way down. The YouTubers have all sold them off, and it was first revealed in 2021. We’re in 2024 now, well past any hype or mania phase. It’s a good time to be a buyer.

If it's closer to me I'd seriously consider. Roadtripping back is my goal but too far for this one. Black leather interior?

Don't be too nervous paying right around sticker for a new Z. You can always say no until you sign all the paperwork if it doesn't feel right.

I got hosed on the first new car I ever bought and swore it would never happen again. I have walked away from car deals that didn't feel right before too.

Go with your gut and I think there is some solid advice in this thread.

The Nissan dealer closest to me has two Zs in the showroom out of maybe 6 or 7 vehicles total. Seems odd giving the two Zs that prominence, considering the market for the Z is probably a lot lower than their other vehicles. I was the only guy looking at the Zs during my visit, the other customers were all looking at the SUVs and regular cars.
