Some interesting points:
  1. Power on shifting in manual: Make sure the car is in launch control mode to avoid slamming through gears while power shifting.
  2. Centrifugal Pendulum Absorber in Transmission: to reduce transmission vibration and booming noise in lower gears and low rpm, the steel plates that are attached to dual mass flywheel works like pendulum to counter the engine vibration in low rpm.
  3. Downshift rev-matching in automatic: Adaptive system so it’s not always on, it will turn itself on depending on how you are pushing it (in both standard and sport mode) - the “dance partner” metaphor

Roughly 150 lbs added for coolers and chassis strengthening/bracing, promising, but what about brake cooling/ducting? Probably aftermarket items only.

Huh? This makes no sense. How would launch control avoid slamming through gears in a manual?

A couple of interesting questions but some of the comments these guys make are ridiculous. Totally out of touch. Except the potential vent placement in the grille for the Nismo was an interesting catch. Thankfully there is no fake vent there right now like the Supra.

You're only supposed to use the no lift shift if you're starting off using launch control, as I understand it
Only good for drag sessions, but at least a nice feature, let's see how good it actually works.

Hopefully once the ECU is unlocked-tuned, this feature could be further improved to allow no lift shift anytime past certain Pedal input. ECUTek allowed this feature on the MT 370z during LC as well.

Redline Reviews was the only reviewer I saw to try the no lift shift launch in the manual & it was painful to watch (25 min mark):

That was all wrong, ugh. They should at least practice that before adding it to their video, what was the point?
