One thing I really appreciate about this Z car is how Nissan have kept it old style without going overboard with complicated electronics and techs- it will be an easier and less expensive to maintain I hope. Even the bonnet is old style, not gas struts which needs replacing.
Nissan Z is one of very few passenger car coming with Euro 5 emission standard ( all imported European cars on Euro 6), Mustang’s Dark Horse facing gas guzzler tax in USA and Australia might also follow suit by the time Z arrives in 2024 with a price hike
Remember Nissan Delayed (we were told “scraped” even) last year’s expected August deliveries to fix the 2nd gear grinding on manual and rollover risk on Auto. This has been fixed and there’s no stop sale globally. The delay is once again Nissan not giving a shit on delivering on expectations...
Nissan, congratulations on your new achievement. You've managed to make customers not only loathe your brand but also turn to your rivals. It takes a special kind of incompetence to achieve such a feat. Keep up the good work, I guess.
Like @West Aussie @khoi242 Many of us have turned towards...
That’s exactly what I did too, both supra and Z on sale and plenty of interest just not the right type. I really can’t say much about other variables…We’ll just wait and see how things go.
Can confirm the black wheels on black diamond is on fire ?. Sound system is more superior than the Supra’s JBL rubbish. They’ve definitely fixed 2nd gear grinding issues if any and boy o boy it has torque ?. Dampers and ride quality perfect for daily driving. I’d change the tyres to Continental...
Just biding my time with this car, the longer it stays the happier I’d be, and who knows if Supra gets better price I’d keep Z. This Z is growing into me, appreciate the design details these guys put into it, it’s a clean timeless classic look.
