Gonna install the Nismo Sway Bar kit #54600-SRZ34 and wanna know if the NISMO Rear Endlink Set #54618REZ33 needs to be installed or is it optional and what the advantage is. Also what is best setting for an improved "daily" use is. TIA.

are these the new revised sway bars from NISMO. the old ones had serious issues where they would break at the welds

also nismo advises not to use aftermarket end links even the NISMO with these

to be honest im not 100% sure the new are out. If you just bought them maybe they are new. my guess is the ends wont be welded? but I havent heard anything from NISMO other than a new revised version were due out to fix the issue.

Matt, what if one would try to buy a replacement sway bars for a NISMO Z. Would that be possible? In other words, if something happened to your car and you were rebuilding it, you would get the sway bars from Nissan. Would those sway bars be the same that NEXTGENZ got?

The OEM sway bars for the Z NISMO are slightly different than the performance they are 2 millimeters thicker have bigger bushings and have air guides for the brakes on them.

These are different than the NISMO USA sways you but from a dealer. Those are red and a bit thicker than the OEM but have had some quality control issues

Ive been looking for a set of sway bars for my Nismo but the compromise is that you loose the brake air deflectors if you go to an aftermarket bar. The deflectors make a HUGE difference in brake temperature and wear if you track your car.

The Stillen bars wont work with the Nismo air deflectors because they have the outer adjustment ends welded on to the main bar and that's exactly where the outer mount is for the air deflector. Its a U clamp type mount so it needs to be a round bar for it to work. I think the best bet for Nismo owners or those wanting to retro the Nismo air deflectors is Whiteline at the moment. The WL is 27mm vs oem 28mm so its a very small difference to make up in the clamp if you have to, it may even just bolt up tight as is. I will order a set and see for myself.

oof, that sucks. Hopefully over the next year or so we will start seeing some aftermarket stuff which works with the NISMO. Finding parts between the Z and the NISMO isn't exactly easy.

But the Z NISMO OEM bars CAN be fitted to other models, correct? Bolt-on?

yes I have a buddy who just put a set on a performance. they looks almost identical to the naked eye but when measured they are 2 millimeter larger to fit the bigger bushing.

not sure about the rebound like as in are they less hollow on the inside ect ect.

According to Dealers and aftermarket sources Nismo Sway Bars are on backorder for what is thought to be QC issues.:(

I am looking to replace the sway bars on my Z Performance. Looking between the Nismo, Z1, and Stillen. Ideally I would just get the Nismo ones. However, concerned about them breaking per the comment above. Any feedback on which one I should get? Not sure how similar they are.
