There is no convertible planned for launch day release, but it's likely there will be one a year or two later, like the 350Z did. At the very least some third party company will probably make you one given enough money.

There is at least one unofficial rendering (which doesn't look too bad, and I personally detest convertibles):

But there are also unofficial renderings of sedan and SUV versions ? which hopefully won't get made (although given car makers preference for keeping a "family face" on their entire range, I wouldn't be surprised either)

People have been complaining about the new Z's front grille ... just imagine how horrific that would be when stretched to fit the height of an SUV ... it would be taller than most toddlers and look like a basking shark coming down the road at you ...
