I noticed that Z1 doesn’t sell Hood Struts. I bought some for a 370Z there. Which were OK.

Searching the Forum, I find comments about Kanjo hood struts being installed.

But AI says it’s not safe to use them. So-Anyone know:
Does the Z hood pop up feature stop you from installing hood struts? Will they interfere with the delicate hood explosives?

I wouldn’t want them to go off by mistake, or not go off correctly in a pedestrian or bike collision.

Many of us have the Kanjo dampers and really like them. I recommend them, especially with the newer bracket design that goes on the hood. I've never once had an issue with them nor do I have any concerns that they'll go off by mistake. There isn't a lot of pressure on the dampers when closed; they don't start to really lift the hood until about 2/5 open.

Okay, thanks. May be fine, I don’t always trust an AI Generated summary. Probably tells me Tylenol causes Autism, ‘cause that’s been all over the news recently.

The Kanjo hood struts are one of the best things I did. Can't imagine going back to the little stick thing.

AI isnt accurate at all. It uses a lot of different info on the interweb. And if the info that it gathers is wrong, it will suggest it as a source

Youre better finding a reputable review from actual consumers to give you real world experience

Remember, AI is more wrong than correct

Exactly why I posted photos, I did the research, Kanjo was best and was an easy install.
