Media reports as recent as two months ago stated there would be a mix on the first shipment…quoting Nissan Aus
If it's the one I was thinking of, it
Drive cars are coming into pre-delivery. Check your local dealer sites for updates, so you can go kick some tyres. :)
That is awesome! Would love to make sure I fit in one :-D

Does that mean they might be in showrooms soon? If there is one kicking around Brisbane I'd be keen to check it out.

They're allegedly releasing them to all (participating) dealerships at the same time. My best guess is after the Prestige Ace has arrived with the remaining demos. Maybe a fortnight from now.

I think sooner. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Dealerships this weekend. Could be wrong though. ;)
Hope you are right….and the prestige ace may actually be ACE and carrying our actual cars ?

Tell you what boys and girls…a girl goes out to work to find she has a novel to read to catch up.
I have to find myself a job that’s more conducive to reading the forum ?

I am losing interest in the Z. I like the look, but not particularly been impressed by the rest of the car. Too heavy, boring exhaust note, no different drive modes and suspension modes.
Anyone else thinking about getting a Civic type R? Although it might be already too late for a deposit.

I would possibly consider the civic….but I’ve already had one in the past and I dint like the latest reincarnations front …looks too squared off sedanish for me

I actually like the front of the civic better than the Z, and the rear of the Z better than the civic. I'm interested in both.

Not gunna buy 2 cars though. 1 is already a poor financial decision when I could likely get a much more practical car for cheaper. Haha.

I expect to get hands on the Z before they even take deposits for civic though.

So it is highly likely I'll pick up the Z and I'll at least take a look at a civic when they get here. Who knows, could end up selling Z for civic. Or you know, win the lotto and buy both. Civic daily and Z weekender. Lol, I can dream.

for dailies I've only had 2 4 door car's in my life.

one during a really low point of my life and I just needed transport

the the GS300 which is just meant to be a temp car till the Z arrives but I'm loving it more everytime I drive it so looks like club rego and then will mod it as well.

mine have been Coupes/2 door utes with mini a strange FWD 2 door just to try it out.

the Cvic for me just holds no attention, I respect what they did but it's personally not a dream car.

I've owned and loved a few past Civic generations, they are amongst my favourite cars but sadly Honda lost me with styling and proportions somewhere along the way.
