I'm slightly nervous about that too. Sure I was very early on a list but I'm not certain how or when that was transposed to the current list. Anyway, no point stressing! Exciting times.

No this is a dealer drive car. Yellow manual. And whilst I am super excited, I know that WestAussie probably should have this. Not long though now, they'll be pretty common soon. ha ha ha..

Thanks, it's a bit of a balancing act. TBH someone at Nissan marketing could have been running comms to clear up the confusion. As I said before nothing people have said is really wrong, just pieces of a puzzle that had to get put together.
This car is really a big deal, and so behind the scenes Nissan Australia have been trying to make the roll out fair and equitable. Apart from the communication, I think it's been done better here, then perhaps the US. It seems that US dealers can choose the customer and as such some enthusiasts will miss out despite wanting one a long time before they arrived. Here, if you ordered one, you will get one.

@Hammo25 Osborne Park Nissan has its demo out today…gun metal (@sam9161 it looks great) manual
Ask for Mia, she is really lovely and has taken over Grenville and Jason’s contracts…very enthusiastic
For those who haven’t seen it, all I can say is it’s worth the wait. Beautiful car
The much talked about 8inch screen is actually a great size for the car, don’t notice that missing inch.
Nice blend of tradition and new
It was smaller than I expected ..but in a good way. What I mean by that is, it was low but not “fat” looking
Any tall guys there is plenty of leg room, the boss of the dealership is taaaaaalll and he fit it no issues. I didn’t even think about ducking to get in, but to be fair I’m a shorty
Seats are comfortable.
I was not permitted to drive it ? as they are waiting on word to see if they are actually permitted to let people do so, but no biggy for me as I hate test driving cars always makes me feel nervous when it’s not mine
I believe they are the first dealership in the West to have it on display.
Mia tells me they are hoping to see our orders in the next month or two…but she said you never know, it could be sooner as the demo arrived two weeks earlier than expected
@jezzza you will be happy to know, those who missed out on Protos, were offered coupes but in order of the date their proto was ordered, so no jumping the line…which was a relief.
So it seems that even though it’s been a long wait Nissan seem to be sticking true to their word in terms of honouring the virtual line, and hopefully it won’t be too much longer to wait
Loved it, and it’s given me that extra bit of oooff to wait a little while longer
