I say it has nothing to do with Nissan Australia - more Nissan Japan and the lack of communication. NAU can’t really be blamed if they’re not told anything or have no info and the clients (us) assuming they know everything and trying to squeeze and answer our doesn’t help. It’s better they say they really have no info instead of trying to comfort clients with “something”.
Disagree completely,
When you give a time frame of September last year, the very least they could do is send communications detailing the reasons why that time frame was not met and an apology, it’s what nearly every business does. I run a business, if I didn’t keep clients up to date with their orders I wouldn’t be in business for very long
You don’t happen to work for Nissan do you Matt?
First a promise of more info…and now defending them?
It’s not a short delay we are talking about here

No I do not work Nissan or any manufacturer. I work in the media! And I too am waiting for a Z, order done in December 22.

But yes, ok, keeping clients abreast of an order and news is right - I won’t disagree. But when you don’t have any info, they apologize… what else would help?

Admitting that there is an issue is a start, rather than sweeping it under the carpet and hoping no one notices, or that everyone has the time and patience to wait would not go astray

There are many who have already given up their order…number one complaint is lack of transparency

Are you happy with the stereo sound?
I’ll get to that stereo soon, let me enjoy the sweet manual first ?.
Oh it’s worth the wait if you’ve ordered the manual

I know it’s been a topic of conversation previously, but does anyone know approx what size spacers are needed to mount the front number plate direct to the grill (without that big ugly mounting bracket - which is not only ugly but flimsy AF)? I cab buy any size out of china but need to probably buy bulk - so happy to do that and give away the rest to others.

Not sure but my quick fix was to cut away the excess bit of the mount with a multi tool so it can't be seen. I'd be interested in mounting directly to the grill if you figure it out.

Nice story on A current affair of all places tonight about Quarantine.
Yes…there is a quarantine issue, but mostly in Melbourne, and most cars affected are from China followed by Spain and Argentina.
Japan did not make the list ?
Even in Melbourne the backlog has dropped from 10,000 cars to just 2,000 and there are less dirty cars arriving .

So backlog clearing, west coast port not affected, and cars from Japan is if anything …way down the line being held up

Very interesting
