And that’s me out.

Now driving my new (for me - 2nd hand) Audi RS5. My Z order is cancelled.

I will continue to watch the Z roll out with minor interest. Maybe I’ll look at the final year of Z whenever that may be.

Why is it, that the US have an extensive list of genuine parts you can order with your Z …like scuff plates, interior ambient lighting, stripes, underbody lighting etc, and here in Aus all we can get is mud flaps, or things like car mats …it’s ridiculous
And why doesn’t the company make a partnership with a muffler specialist to offer a noisier muffler that would be covered by warranty

I know Aus is small, but we are usually happy to splash cash on pretty things as well

basiclly as it's near impossible.
The amount of testing needed would be $$$, between reliability, ADR, Noise and to be sure it would last the period of time cosmetically.

Plus each state then has further diffrent rules, it's just not viable.

and frankly a 91 decibel exhuast is too quiet aftermarket anyhow.

and you also know they would charge double what it would cost aftermarket.

True ….but even just the little thing that are actually made by nissan..ambient lighting etc. why does the US have it available and we do not ….even the stripes ( not that I like them)
Seems like Aus is getting ripped off yet again.
It’s the small screen all over again

for me it's the scuff plates so I get that part. (and the stripes are sooo ugly)

when I test drove the dealer did say that they are expecting the accessories to come in later this year and would be happy to swap any dealer fit ones out at a service.

They should offer an exhaust option, or use the valved exhaust from the auto on the manual imo. An aftermarket exhaust on the manual Z was a must for me, and having a better option without jeopardising warranty would have done a lot to keep my interest.

Though if this anything to go by, I'd still end up doing the math on an alternative 😅

RS5 is an absolute weapon mate! Nice pickup!
Grab a 2nd hand Z in a few years when the prices drop. Reckon you'll enjoy having something you can just send without caring.

Started another thread for some pics I took last night if anyone is interested.
Had to post this here though - I've mentioned to a few of you that my favourite part of the car is the front end (especially the bonnet 'y' crease).

Hawt. 🔥

if you were offered a cancelled order in the color you wanted but it was an auto, not a manual, would you take it

for me hard no

I feel this is Nissan’s last FR turbo manual car

That was a big selling point for me.

That would be a no from me. I’d replace my 3.0 supercharged A5 with a more recent S5 if going auto. The RWD manual is the whole appeal.

Hi all,
New here and pre-ordered my Z in June 22 and it still hasn’t had allocation. My dealer changed colours from Nissan to Hyundai earlier this year so I wonder if that changed anything (they said it didn’t). I’m just worried that it’ll be 24 by the time it gets manufactured and shipped over and I could be driving something else in the meantime.

what’s your experience been like?
