The ONLY thing the Z is better at is the looks.
Depends on which reviewer's opinion you want to believe (until you see and drive it yourself), but according to most reviews the Z has better looks, visibility, daily drivability comfort, more fun to drive, price, ... plus it's actually all Nissan, not a BMW in a new coat. The new Z is the better car all round, rather than just going fast, and unless you're on a track, going fast is utterly pointless / illegal.

Umm how?
It’s a BMW Z4 with 12k knocked off the price.

+ When 385 hp ties in a 1/4 mile with a 470 hp car then it shows how much that number really matters. The ONLY thing the Z is better at is the looks. Period.
Not true - at all. Watch SG's video and you'll understand why. Z has a double wish bone up front vs. strut on the Supra. That's quite the advantage for the Z.

Not to mention the Z is more comfortable and spacious (I've sat in both), and it's a legitimate JDM car. So no, not only looks.

Can’t help people in denial. I know you guys had a lot riding on this and it’s a blast of cold water but fr.. making decisions based on a front strut is wild šŸ˜‚

I don't have anything riding on anything. I just established you're incorrect. Full stop.

But again, don't take my word for it. Watch all of the reviews. They're all positive. And most reviewers flatly state they'd rather own the Z over the Supra. No one on this forum is in denial bud.

And I made clear the additional reasons why the Supra pales by comparison. Your choice to pick and choose - double wish bone up front is just the tip of the iceberg.
I don’t understand why some people are still here whinging, best get on the Supra page and get your orders in…leave those that are true Z enthusiasts that can see the value be

I’ll just leave this here then..
Yeah because all anyone is going to do is drag race with sub par tires and no added extras against a car that has the top trim with the best tires for drag racing.

I don’t get why everyone is hung up about this, you’ve lost sight of what the car is about

But the point is….the majority do not, and manufacturers build for the majority
sad but true
regardless if you do drag race, you wouldn’t keep the same tires and you would tune it, and then you would be far more competitive …no?

Straight from the office of disinformation LOL. I watched the video and he says different tires would have changed that. The Z had no issues other than grip. Doesnt bother me as I’ve never taken a car to a drag strip and don’t plan to. I watched most of the review videos last night and they all love the new Z. I think the Supra is fine, I just think It’s ugly. To each their own.

Then the Z isn't for you. We all get it. There's no need to keep beating a dead horse badgering those of us that do appreciate the Z. You aren't changing any minds. In fact, at this point you are just being a troll.

Tyres isn’t going to fill that two bud gap.

I was here for the same reason we all were; to get a 35,000$ car faster than the Supra. Obviously this news sucks. But sadly the Supra is superior at this point.. maybe the NISMO will change that
