I've been waiting on some real world photos since the announcement.

Looks cool, clear difference from Seiran Blue but not a big difference. Not sure how I feel about single color due to hatch and mirrors. Will take some getting used to and will need to see in person. probably the more cost effective and familiar color to paint for Nissan

Still prefer seiran blue but love the single colour.

Not that I'm likely to change anyhow.
Or likely it's coming to AU unless a final edition color.

I'd love to park next to one of these and experience both colors in person. The color changes a lot in these photos - even of the same car from different angles - likely due to auto exposure and computational photography, so it's hard to get a good sense of the color.

I've really gotten used to the black hatch, roof, and A pillars, so it looks a little odd to me, but I like it. I noticed the B pillar is still black. I guess that's true on all Zs (and many other cars), but I never thought about it before.

The only other Zs I've seen in the metal have been monotone, but all were at a distance except for a Rosewood-colored model. Thus, I can't say if I "dislike" that look on the Z, really. Seems fine in most cases but I will say that the black roof with a contrasting body makes the car appear visually lower and more svelte from the profile. That's undeniable.

I agree on the roofline and overall height comment.
I think in 10-15 years the monotone color will age better whereas a black roof will date the car to “Early 2020s”. Kind of like when you see an F-250 with white in the middle “Late 80s” or the Jeep Cherokee with the wood panel and stacked headlights.

True! It's such an industry-wide trend, as well. From multi-million-dollar hypercars on down to our plebian Z. Like having black alloys on one's passenger car places it firmly in the 2015-current era (though I *think* that may be ending).
