Check out this video I did this morning. I noticed when on this winding road the warning lights to indicate issues with proximity warning sensors and emergency breaking sensors flash on and off … always happens on this same section of the road, that’s super curvy. My Z is wrapped in PPF, and to be honest this only happens on this particular section of road in Westchester… ignore my 80s music obsession ???

I can't quite tell what light that is, but I know I gave up on the lane departure warning. It seemed to trigger more that I wanted. I guess I'm a bad enough driver as it was beeping too much, so I just turned it off completely.

I’ve had the same situation occur 3 times. Mine occurred randomly.

Not cool. Now that I'm paying attention, it didn't happen at all this morning on the same exact road... So, it's fair to say this is random.

This happened to me yesterday and again this morning. I'm not sure what is going on. It does not seem to be anything that is going to affect the car driving but it still worries me as to what else could be wrong. Hopefully Nissan comes out with a fix or warranty recall.

Interesting. I only get the lane departure warning light. Even on fast roads. What you’re seeing appears to be a software glitch rather than an actual mechanical issue is my take. Hope the dealer has a patch resolution.

Luckily this hasn't happened in the canyons and isn't an issue in any mechanical, but instead as you said, a software issue. And I personally could live without the safety systems.

Yah the orange blinking lights on the Z are a bit large…my other car just makes a sound…there’s no lights blaring on the sides…and the GT-R just doesn’t have a lane departure warning system of any sort…lol

I thought I was going crazy for a while lol. I've gotten used to it though. This happens to me now that it's getting colder. Cold start at 5AM, let it run for like 3 minutes for oil, then take off, keeping RPM's not much above 3000. If it's wet and mostly when cold, I get the "Collision Warning OFF" light and the regular "Front Collision Warning" light blinking for about 1-2 minutes.

I think it's a frost issue or the RADAR sensor coming up to temp, and it's getting too much interference until it does. I'm not really sure though, but like I said, this didn't really happen until it got cold here in MI.

I forgot that I had recorded this happening.
Enjoy the soft jazz from Gran Turismo 5 lol.

Mine did this the other morning after plowing through something on the road, then the bright lights came on as I entered a curve. Kind of unnerving to say the least ... reasearching this, something said to just make sure all the sensors are clean.

Happens to me on a specific section of road. I think the sensor gets blinded by light and freaks out for a bit.

I turned to the Owner's Manual ... the brights coming on automatically ... is actually a setting that can be setup. I somehow activated it, but found the answer and removed the setup.
I still haven't seen the original problem since cleaning off the front sensors.

How did you get your dash to show "Engine Oil Pressure"?
