WA State is right on the heels of CA, in fact a few times we'll have more expensive gas than CA.
But, no beaches, no Disneyland, no Hollywood, no good stuff to show for it.....

Yikes. There's plenty of crap to talk about CA and its abysmal governance, but man... the geography, weather, abundance of things to do, etc, are unparalleled.

But yeah, it's like the universe didn't want us mortals to have it all... while it gave us one of the most beautiful climates and resource-rich lands in the entire world, we also gotta be stuck with some of the most brain-rotted, uni-party politics imaginable.

Agreed on the governance, but I’ll leave that alone.

Everything in life has its trade-offs.

in California you’re surrounded by incredible natural beauty and weather, but there’s random earthquakes and the constant threat that everything you have will be burned to the ground.

Here in Florida it’s super flat, but the weather ’s nice and the beaches are great. Our trade-offs are hurricanes and rednecks.

oil is going down in price so gas should follow suit...

$5.50 for 93 this morning. Down $0.50 from last stop, guessing a little less than a week ago (Shell).

it was 5.839 today (5/28).

it has been going down, but still high. it was $4.29 for reg and $5.29 diesel may 6th. heres from to today...
