Calling all emblem masters….

Whoever was in charge in Japan for installing the emblems on my ‘27 Nismo was having a bad day. He might have been drunk, I don’t know.

He screwed up the “O” in Nismo by about 2 degrees, which is exacerbated by my new badass racing stripes.

To those of you who know, if I take my Heat gun and apply it to the O, can I get it hot enough to twist it into alignment without it coming off? Asking the pros here! Thank you!

And here is a zoom in where you can see how the O is just off center. In his drunken defense it is probably off between .5 and 1 degrees.

It definitely gives it uniqueness though. It looks great even slightly off. I have been looking to get my interior Heritage Edition badge for my 26 Heritage but Nissan is not being helpful at all and going to great length for owners not to get one. I'm no master, but I'd say yes

Otherwise remove, remove tape/glue and apply new tape

I understand the logic behind the heat gun method. However, its not the same as removing and reinstalling. The tape wont glide like you think. Twisting may work, but you are also stressing and deforming the tape. On a long hot summer months, the tape will go back to its original position.

I would just remove, retape, reinstall.

3M molding tape - any auto parts shop.
And I have the Z logo on the side pillar behind the rear window in my car is also crooked. My guess is they will warranty that and correct it.

Now that I see it, I can’t un see it. That would drive me crazy. I would try to fix it but as a backup plan, I would have a new sticker ready to go. You probably have a 50-50 chance of heating it up and moving it. And a 50-50 chance of removing it and reapplying it.
I have a 24 heritage and the racing stripe on the hood is off-center by about 1° and it’s just enough that only I can notice it. Nissan is going to fix it under warranty. Nissan will probably give you a sticker under warranty as well.
By the way, the racing stripe looks awesome.

I didn't even know these HERITAGE EDITION badges existed. I have a '24 Heritage was that supposed to be in the interior someplace?
Is your example displaying the badge North of the shift boot between that and the storage tray under the multi-function head unit?

You will not be able to heat and twist! Remove and re-apply a new decal. Those are usually a Vinyl/Resin .

This factory pic is for a later year - It was not listed as included on the 24s. But if you want a build badge for the 24 Heritage,, you can get one through a guy on this forum. I ordered it and it arrived after about a month as expected. I had to bend it a little bit so it had curvature so it would fit in front of the gearshift as that trim piece is slightly curved. It comes with your build number - I am 485 of 550.
