After al the researching and questions (love this forum for this) finally got her all set up. Went with B6A resonated LDPs and AWE track for the install. After i got everything installed, well damn, she woke up. Sound clips don't do it justice. That setup was loud!

Only install issues I had was some SS hardware stripping out while torquing and same issue with the bolts in the AWE band clamps. Went to ACE and got some new bolts and I hit up AWE, and they sent me new band clamps free of charge! AWE did a great job with all the communication and shipping. The original order was set to be 3-4 weeks after order was placed due to made to order. Received in 2 weeks! Big appreciation to @AWE!!

After driving for a week, that setup IMO was a bit too much. The lower RPMs resonated in the car too much for my taste, but I'm old :). When ripping through the gears, she sounded amazing, just the low end was a lot.

This is where the AWE setup is perfect, because not knowing 1st hand the actual sound, I knew I could dial it down with the touring kit. So I did just that. Shout out to @boosted6 for 2 day shipping me the touring kit. Amazing service and communication!

Touring kit took less than an hour to unbox and install. She is perfect now. Low end is amazing. The tone actually got deeper. But once you get on it, after 4k rpm, she's screaming just like the track. Great recommendation @KrackaC8

Anyone looking to do the opposite for track use, I have the track conversion with less that 100 mile on it on ebay!

Glad you had good luck ! Are the AWEs knocking / banging on the x-brace - common with these pipes (mine
do it too).
wish there was a solution other than flattening the brace

Also running the AWE cat back with mufflers added. It takes the low rpm drone out while running full chatted downpipes. Super happy. Growly.

This touching comes from the angles at the band clamps by the X pipe. A lot of potential for rotation here. To be honest, the X brace clearances to me were the easiest to clear (1/2"), the inlet pipes were a bit tougher (1/4-5/16") seeing they bolted directly to the LDPs and were pretty hard set.

I would say get under there, loosen all band clamps, and start rotating. Also rotating the resonated sections can pull the X pipe up as well. It just takes looking at it from different angle and a little mock up, but I'm confident you can do it.

The touching on the brace is going to rattle in the cabin, and that would drive me crazy.

If adjusted properly the pipes should not be making contact with any part of the car including the bracing. Since the full 3" system is so much larger than factory, there is not a ton of room for error when getting them positioned properly. Getting all of the joints fully bottomed out, rotated away from any surface and pushing up when tightening up the clamps will help tremendously during installation.

Still, if you need a hand getting everything sitting properly, our support team is available to help at any time right here.

As always, my PMs are also open!
