Sadly while the front drop was about an inch the rear wouldn't adjust down much. It was 3/4 on just lowering springs but we couldn't get the rear down much. Hoping the springs settle.
Got Catted High Flow Down Pipea installed with a Z1 Stage 2 Tune. Feeling a huge power difference every where.
Also just got the Nismo coil overs installed and alignment. The drive is transformed, looking forward to a little hard driving. As a daily it is less bouncy by far and with far less...
Finally got the Nismo coil overs installed and the alignment below:
The ride quality is great. Somehow is firm and less bouncy but still comfortable as can be.
Bit the bullet. Just ordered all the arms and bolts for full adjustable suspension and then figured "heck" and ordered the Nismo Coilovers. Might as well live the JDM life and get the car reasonably functionl.
Nah I dig goofy. The point is unaddressed suspension holding the entire car experience back. A half measure is the same and just doing nothing but now getting crap tire wear.
and this is where my mind is a little as well. Keeping the car for the long haul. Getting new arms from front and back to allow more adjustability seems like the move. The harder move is nutting up to afford coilovers to go along with them.
Went diving into suspension threads and picked a lot up. The only thing on my alignment was that camber being so off. Since the front isn't adjustable the rear could at least get that Rear Chamber bolt set for more adjustability with the stock arm. Guess the fronts just stay at 1.6
Below is my alignment, I got busy and forgot to go for a long time ad ruined my Potenzas. Ordered some Michelins which will arrve soon at my mechanic's shop. In regards to the aligment below (and all I have is RSR 3/4" lowering springs and Z1 wheel spacers). The tire fit is perfect without being...
It's been 6 months living with the modification list from the above build. The car now has 14500 miles on it, mostly highway commuting. Drove the car for most the winter but experienced too many pucker moments and 1 case of losing control of the car at 70mph as rain turned to sleet. Ended up...
I have all the mods in my first post installed and have a few hundred miles on them and the car is transformed.
The ride quality just from the springs are incredible and glad I stuck with the RSR. The Stillen sway bars keep the lateral movement down, feels incredibly sharp.
The tune with...
Got the Z1 short shifter with those Z1 shift mount bushings and a Eight Ball knob. Holy cow arw the shifts SHORT and Hard. Getting used to it, zero play or grind ever. Really gotta shift with intention but feels like I imagine a race car does.
Put on a few hundred miles with RSR springs, Stillen sway bars, the Z1 diff brace and bushing, with Z1 lowered wheel fitment and WOW.
This is my daily driver and very happy with the changes. The car feels very different, planted and smooth with zero lateral roll. Small changes made a huge...
Oh my sweet summer child. Enter App hell. There are different ways to connect with the camera, cloud vs recorder. I settled for recorder direct. The steps to get there would befuddled the greatest alchemists. Technically I followed the directions I found online. Ill try and pull them back up and...
My car came with the factory dash cam and it's big and the app is hard to get sorted. I persevered and it works fine for me. Would be very hard to recommend however.
