Just installed a carbon fiber/leather steering wheel and am unable to get it lined up perfectly when vehicle is traveling straight. It sits either slightly to the right or slightly to the left when installed on the steering shaft splines when centered, which is like Kryptonite for someone like me who suffers from a scorching case of OCD. That being said, my Z is going into shop soon for a bunch of performance upgrades which include coilovers, adjustable arms, etc., and will of course be getting an alignment after that's done. Does anyone here educated on this sorta stuff happen to know if there are any known methods for correcting this slight off-center alignment issue of steering wheel during the suspension alignment process? Or would aligning the suspension in order to compensate for getting steering wheel dead center then result in vehicle being out of alignment?
PS: Apologies if I dropped this in wrong forum section. Wasn't quite sure where this type of issue should go.
