BTW, there's no apparent credit being shown for the OEM wheels on any variant when any of the non-OEM NISMO LM-RS1 or LM-GT4 wheels are selected for the build-to-order on website. If that's true that there's no credit applied for OEM wheels not being part of the build-to-order and not some sorta website glitch then I have no idea what the incentive is to do a build-to-order, much less what "build-to-order" even means. *confused*

Maybe I missed it after checking the website, but you are saying "build to order" but the "build" part is bog standard for most Japanese vehicle accessories, didn't see anything saying that the Z is "ordered". I just want to be sure that we still don't need to "order" a 2027 Z as that has been mentioned many times lately.

I believe when you order the upgraded wheels you should be able to collect the new OEM wheels that were replaced by the accessory wheels, especially if done by the dealership. If it's done at the port, you're likely unable to get the original wheels back. That way you could sell the original wheels, or use them for winter tires (that'd be how I'd do it)

I've never built to order any of my Z's. Keeping that in mind, it's nice to see more wheel options, but I've had my bronze LMRS1s for 2 years. It was nice (back then) little to noone had them. Now they are going to be more mainstream.

I guess I will get the Nismo v1s after all.

I just submitted an order. Only extra was the stealth grey exterior paint. I submitted three dealerships and one of them got on it immediately.
We'll see what happens...

Hope it goes well, without the typical dealership games. One can always hope. ;)
