I have the v1 bumper. Will the Z emblem work perfectly with my bumper?

How easy was it to get off plus was there any heat gun needed or adhesive remover? Worried about my ppf

might vary car to car but I didnt need any heat gun or hair dryer at all. just sawed the tape off with dental floss. it kept fraying a bit but got it off before the roll ran out. no adhesive remover either just rolled it up with my thumb then took some glass cleaner and a towel and to it.

What MCN1smo said.

Everything I do is optional and not needed. I use GooGone on adhesive. Then Isopropyl 91% to clean the surface. I use adhesive promotor for piece of mind.

only thing that took a minute was making sure I got the alignment right. that tape on the new emblem is so sticky that even if the edge touches it wants to stick so it took me longer second guessing myself putting the new emblem off than it did taking the old one off.

I took my nissan off a few days in advance as I thought it would be a pain but because the nissan logo has that hollow inside of the burger design the tape around the other ring is so skinny so once you saw through most of that you can just pop it off once its 3/4 done

so I'm confused, if you remove the Hamburger and switch to the 2027 z-emblem, will you have the recessed circle around it or not? Some pictures show it, some don't. Considering doing this on a 2026 Heritage (Performance Model), but if the Z emblem is smaller and you will see the old recess, no thanks.

'27 is recessed

'23-'26 are not recessed

'24+ Nismo is recessed

so the 27 Z emblem is recessed and those modifying a 23-26 will have the the Z emblem sit flush not recessed like a true 27?

Much better than a recessed halo for sure
