Took delivery on in January on an extremely nice manual 26 Heritage. I’m wondering if any other owners have been waiting on the interior badge to come in? I’m still waiting. Also can’t seem to get a breakdown on how many manual vs automatics were produced in the U.S. I believe a total of 500 were made with 10 sent to Australia.Thx for any info.

Not sure about the badge? It’s the first time I’ve heard of this. Curious to hear how you heard of it. You are correct about the limited numbers, 500 total, 10 go to Aus, 200 will stay in Japan and 239 will be sold in the US. The reason I said 239 and not 240 is one was documented as damaged during transport you can find the articles and pics of the car. Awesome pic of your Z

They were produced/built IN Japan for the US and not IN the US.

I found it in the Nissan Z brochure then spoke to a friend about it. It’s also listed on the corporate website under standard key features. I brought it to Nissan’s attention but they are denying the part is available and went to production. You can see in the pictures there’s a part number for it as well. I think every 2026 Heritage owner would want this for their car since it’s advertised with the package. Who was driving that transport truck! Whatever he did he was definitely going fast enough to have all the air bags deployed. What ashame.

Dealer is full of it; I think this is the part number:

T99G3-6GP0A

Try giving that to them, or just order it yourself.

So I called my local Nissan Dealership where I got my MNP Z and asked for my badge. Parts department couldn’t help me even tho they were able to confirm the part exists and it’s not a figment of anyone’s imagination. I was told to call sales, unfortunately the sales rep no longer works there 🤦‍♂️. I have to call back tomorrow and ask for some sales guru who was not there today to possibly assist me with obtaining my heritage badge. I just watched a video of a MNP Z for sale that has the badge already in the console, not sure if it’s just a sticker or the badge is recessed into the plastic cover below shifter.

Yep, I put that order in and it got cancelled. Contacted Nissan consumer affairs and they are saying it never was adopted or put into production. North Carolina Nissan shows they have one in stock. It appears Nissan messed up big time on this when it is stated in the corporate website that it comes as Key Standard Equipment for the 26 Z Heritage Edition. Where you able to order one?

Yes I received no help. I hope you have some luck but I don’t think you will get anywhere because the parts department will tell you it’s a restricted part and they take your vin# and send it to Nissan DPIC. Then they tell you it doesn’t come with your car and it wasn’t part of the package. It’s like excuse me it’s a 2026 Heritage Z. Can you send me that link to the video?

Parts guy said it showed up on his screen but was not giving him an option to order, he also said price was $33. I know Nissan has been strict on any item for the Heritage Z’s. Basically you can only order heritage parts with vin number demonstrating it’s a true Heritage Ill give you an update once I hear from sales guru tomorrow morning.

Yes all Heritage Z parts will only be issued to the original owner and you correct with providing the vin#. Definitely let me know how it goes.
