I'd be all over a track edition, like the 350Z, with LSD, Rays, Brembos, spoilers, redline paint, and more room in the engine bay, etc. And forget all the electronics and pretty stuff. Nissan went too far from a driver's car, IMHO.

There is supposed to be a media day in northern California early September. That is when Nissan also will announce the price as it will mark the official on sale
At Sonoma I assume? If you get dates, let us know...I'd be willing to make the trip if I'm able.

I think they are just stiffeners to add rigidity.

ahh ok I wasnt sure what I was looking at. I was curious because NISMO USA was going to send me a set of sways to test and document but I told them I wanted to hold off until I got my NISMO. I asked if the NISMO had sways and if so were theirs better (thicker) but havent heard back yet

I think the NISMO Z is only 2.5% more rigid

Yes, I find it hard to believe that all those upgrades resulted in such negligible improvement; at least percentage-wise.

If you get specifics from NISMO USA, would love to hear them.

I think that 2.5 is as in structural rigidity, seperate from the suspension upgrades. Pretty sure I read in the press info that there was Nismo specific springs/shocks/swaybars etc which will be stiffer/fatter.

You can tell just from the vids how much flatter the Nismo corners on track vs the standard Z which definitely wallows around, especially on quick direction change.

Hopefully it's all a very tangible improvement
