There's a lot more emotion involved than anything tangible or practical (as far as reasoning goes.)what did you miss about the z compared to the Chevy?
The 1LE is very sharp, very loud and drew attention from all the kids wanting to race me. It was also quite fatiguing to live with. You can't see and the rigid chassis, constant tramlining from the tires and 9mpg were tiresome to deal with.
All of the reasons journalists tend to love the 1LE and crap on the Z, are the same reasons I love the Z and ended up selling the Camaro. Yea, it was dynamically a sharper car but the Z makes me feel some kind of way when I drive. I love the weight transfer, lol. The front end lifting up under hard acceleration is simple, old school nostalgia. It's NOT a track car, but it is a badass Japanese muscle car.
