what did you miss about the z compared to the Chevy?
There's a lot more emotion involved than anything tangible or practical (as far as reasoning goes.)

The 1LE is very sharp, very loud and drew attention from all the kids wanting to race me. It was also quite fatiguing to live with. You can't see and the rigid chassis, constant tramlining from the tires and 9mpg were tiresome to deal with.

All of the reasons journalists tend to love the 1LE and crap on the Z, are the same reasons I love the Z and ended up selling the Camaro. Yea, it was dynamically a sharper car but the Z makes me feel some kind of way when I drive. I love the weight transfer, lol. The front end lifting up under hard acceleration is simple, old school nostalgia. It's NOT a track car, but it is a badass Japanese muscle car.

I echo so much of this of this coming from Corvette. Everyone knows what it is and wants to race you. It gets tiring when you just want to cruise in your cool car.
Also agree that what people said they didn't like about the Z is what I DO like. I like that it is not as popular and less people know what it is when they see it. I like having knobs and switches to control interior bits instead of the interior just looking like someone glued an iPad to the dash. All this and still have a 2 door 2 seater RWD sports car that is 400 horses and a great mix of old and new in style.

Haha yeah, stock right now. Will be collecting dust for the next 2-3 months until sun arrives out here in Oregon.

You got that from the same dealer I got mine :)
Nissan of Omaha right?

I live near there and have driven by your car on the lot many times over this summer. They ordered like 6 Z's after I got mine (I paid just under MSRP) which was the only one they had about a year ago. Those 6 sat for a long time and yeah i saw they had been dropping the prices as time has gone on. I see they only have 3 now.

Yes Nissan of Omaha! It was a mission shipping the vehicle out here to Oregon, but the price was soo worth it. Highly recommend them for sure. Did you get the additional warranty on yours?

Good deal. Glad you were able to get it to Oregon. Did they have someone they used or did you have to find someone to ship it? I did not get any extra warranty on mine. I never do for my cars and so far I haven't really needed it. They did really try to sell me extra warranty though.

They used someone that they work with a lot. It wasn’t bad, paid 1700 bucks for fully enclosed, which was affordable due to being nearly 1700 miles away ($1 a mile).
Yeah they tried to sell me some insurance for $1600 bucks which expired after 5 years or 60k miles. I rejected it, since i also will not be driving it much.

I just got a performance for 44k flat.
Congrats on the car and sounds like you got a great deal!

Just curious, was it listed at 44k or that was your offer and they accepted?

The car was listed at $44,115. Not to brag but yeah got literally a steal. Came with a few packages add ons with the car. Cargo net, premium carpet, car charger, first aid kit, kick plate, etc.

No doubt a good deal. The shipping was a good deal IMO as well. Congrats. If I was up in Oregon, I'd cruise my Z around with you in the group your looking for. Cheers!

I just bought a brand new white/black performance manual with red interior for 44k flat. Omaha Nebraska is the place to buy. I spoke with 30+ different dealers from various states, and they all said they were unable to touch their deal.
OTD $44 flat?
