Hello everyone!

I am looking to add custom wheels and would like to know if you can put 20" wheels and 10.5" wide on the new Z model?

Is putting a 20" wheels too large for the new Z model and will it rub the fender of the car?

And will adding the width 10.5" rub the brake caliper? And will it stick out of the body or fender?

Thanks for any advice!

UPDATE 4/29/2024:

I contacted a wheel and rims salesperson regarding adding larger and wider wheels and he said I can only add .5" on the width of the wheel. Adding anything that is .5" wider will cause contact to the brake caliper. So the maximum width for the new Z is 9.5" wide for all 4 wheels.

I am not sure how some of you are putting a 11" width to your new Z model??? Are you adding a spacer to all the 4 wheels?

There's a bunch a video's out there on choosing different wheel sizes, Goggle will be your friend on that. The most common is 19's. But I have seen few folks running 20's, which can get tricky if you're adding width. I went 19 x 10.5 +12 offset rears and 19 x 9.5 +22 offset fronts on my previous Z.

Did you lower your car to 1"? I can't tell from the picture.

And did you use 1" spacer for all 4 wheels?

I suppose if you add 1" wider to all 4 wheels, you don't need to add 4 spacers.

Thanks!

The car wasn't lowered and I didn't use any spacers. The front + 22 and rear +12 is what brought the wheel out sitting close to flush with the fender. Also the rear width is .5" wider than stock.

You need to consider offset when deciding what wheels will fit over the callipers (there are calculators online to compare with your stocks). I added squared 19x10.5 +15 on all sides. The fronts poke out slightly but I’m still enjoying the look and have managed to stretch on the stock tyres for now.

Good day Sir! Do you have a pic showing how much the 10.5" +15 pokes out up front? and if I might ask, do you know your camber specs?

PS. Looks great from here!!

Hey mate,
In the middle of a house move so these are the best I can do, sorry. Camber is negative and about 0.1 degrees.

Amazing. More than enough! Thank you good Sir!! So. By the looks of it, if one were to run like 2-2.5* negative camber, it should probably clear!? 🤔 maybe?! Hopefully 😁
