I was thinking that route too.
Is there any down side with blow off valves on these motors since Nissan intentionally put that recirculation valve on our motors? I can’t find answers on that lol
I'm looking to possibly buy the HKS blow off valves soon but after doing some research im a little torn & confused.. It seems the larger tuners don't recommend blow off valves for our motors. I'm concerned about the health of the turbos if I go this route based on a couple of older Q forums for...
im at 10,500 miles and these things are pretty much done. I think im going to replace them in about 2-3 thousand miles, the rears are pretty bald. I daily it and drive it spiritied more so on the weekend but nothing crazy. Roads are super nice by me too so not a product of rough roads either
spoke with the sales manager here at Nissan of Irvine, CA and he said they are forsure getting 1 of the models. Not sure if it's going to be Takumi or Skyline. He did say it'll be marked up $100K and will sit until its sold with that markup lol:cwl:
Has anyone installed these and experienced a rattle coming from the rear that sounds like something is loose? I have reinstalled and re-torqued to spec already and the noise is the exact same. I’m waiting on a response from z1 to see if this is a common issue or not.
Won’t let me upload my...
Coilovers just came in today. I am contemplating installing these myself but setting the pre load on the springs is throwing me off. Any thing I should look out for when throwing these on? I’ve installed coils on a couple cars but this is the first where I have to set the preload.
I don't think people are having problems with the true coilvoers. Everything I'm reading is clunking sounds from the Z1 S-PRO setup which is spring/strut in the rear.
I’ve had the car for 5 months and just caught this walkin my dog at night.. Passenger side of the hood is definitely not sitting flush with the bumper and it’s bugging the fuck out of me now even though it’s slightly off..
what do I do from here? Dealer?
Do you guys think we'll ever see throwback dash options on the Z either from Nissan directly or aftermarket? As soon as I saw the new mustang had a throwback fox body option for the dash I thought to myself damn Nissan missed the marks on this one since this car has so much heritage to it. Seems...
Really hope Nissan copies what Ford did with the throwback cluster option. It would be sweet to see z32 cluster and even would be funny to have z31 cluster up there. Even if they were able to mimic 240z gauges that would be awesome. Simple software update and we could have those
I might just have ptsd because my 300zx would overheat every now and then but does this look like it’s running too hot? It’s about 85 degrees out here in california and it was a light 30 minute drive home driving it like a granny…
