It really is incredible - thousands of people in line, waiting to spend $60k - $100k for a new car.

They really have us consumers by the balls
I had the opportunity to track drive three laps and a 147mph straightaway in a new Vette, Porsche GT3, and a Ferrari 448 GTB last fall.

The C8 is very track-worthy, indeed, and without any drama in the turns and sweepers. Very stable but will bite you if you exceed physics.

The GT3 was my fav...

Really starting to consider that base model C8 for $62k if the new Z really ends up being over $50k
You're smoking Hunter Biden's crackpipe if you seriously think a C8 can be had for merely $62k.

I feel like y'all are living in an alternate universe, the one that existed before China virus screwed everything up, talking like y'all can easily just pick and choose from all of these great cars just sitting on dealer lots waiting for all y'all's

Good luck trying to buy one. Unless you have money to burn 🤷‍♂️.

Just sent an email request to Ciocca Corvette to ask about a base C8. I would rather pay $62k for a base C8 , than pay $53k for a fully equipped Z

And I don't want to buy a Sport Z and have to spend a bunch of time and money getting it to the way I would want it

Have you been on C8 forums? 12-18 month wait-list to get one.

Did you forget about the ongoing pandemic?

Yes , I'm aware of the wait times and allocations . It seems many people are waiting for Z51, LT2 , Nose lift, etc.
So I wanted to really just see how long of a wait it would be for basically a stripped base model .
At this point , if it is under a year wait time and I only need to put down a $1k deposit to get in line , it would really help to calm me down about wanting to buy a new vehicle .
