Pretty skimpy , these guys got a 409 hp and 358 ft lbs. However , they couldn't do a 1 to 1 pull. So some are saying it's actually closer to 415 - 420 hp.
To be honest, that's just only a bit above the standard GT. So I'm not sure if the Dark Horse premium is worth the price .
BUT
These...
Good website , i visit it occasionally . I'll add it to my bookmarks.
On another note , I'm not really a truck or SUV guy, but the new Lexus GX is really nice , imo.
So, the Dark Horse was kind of cool for a bit. But such a car is in crazy demand. The regular GT is too much like the previous GT , even though it is technically a new model. And I still can't get excited about a Mustang.
The Camaro is dead. The Charger is dead. No biggie. The 1LT C8 is...
Original owner sold it to a Nissan dealership .....
Dealership then sells it at auction .....
Another Nissan dealership buys it, now has it listed for sale .....
Price not listed on website 😆
Not quite sure how I feel about that video.
On the one hand , it shows how tough and durable these cars are. And it shows that you don't need to be afraid to drive it. I've always disliked weekend warriors who turn their Vettes into garage queens and treat them like a Bugatti or some other...
Not bad , not bad.
If both were priced at within a few grand of each other, I would still take the Z.
But considering you could get a 1 year old GT for $35k ........ And a Z is $60k , I couldn't justify spending almost double for the Z
Really I'm not in love with the styling , but I think it looks pretty good . But part of what makes it not that attractive is how bulky it looks .
If they could have just made the car exterior smaller , and made the front end smaller and sleeker , i think the styling would have been way better...
Just wish they could make the car a bit smaller and sleeker . I don't know what it is , but it just looks so bulky and big. Like every other Mustang / Camaro / Challenger , i suppose
I really wish I could get onboard with KIA / Hyundai / Genesis.
Korean motors has come a long way , but they are still not true Japanese style and quality.
I guess maybe the much younger generation who didn't get to see how bad Hyundai and KIA was many years ago .
Completely unlikely.
What will the Nismo actually get?
Probably 10 - 15 more horsepower
A little better / louder sounding exhaust
A better spoiler
Nismo wheels
Some aero pieces
Some trim pieces
Nismo badges
And an increase price of $6k to $10k
..........and maybe better braking...
I like and share your logic.
It is true - The Z is a twin turboed Japanese sports coupe , which will be completely warranteed .
I also never would consider adding an aftermarket turbo to an NA car . No matter how perfect the install is , you almost always will have to make adjustments . And...
