So, the average body tech, are they skilled in aluminum repair?I'm sure I'm missing parts here and there but a quick summary.
Car: $18,000
Hood: $1,500
Bumper: $1,200
L&R bumper guard: $300
Absorber: $50
Bumper beam: $930
R headlight: $680
L headlight: $680
Fender liner: $380
Aftermarket fenders: $1000
Labor: $5,500 (taking the middle)
About $30k in total. This could be a good deal especially if the buyer owns their own shop or knows how to do the work themselves.
It was mentioned that NSX needed a new front clip.
I know the NSX, some Audis after the NSX, and the F-150 are aluminum.... So obviously the industry has had to catch up. Aluminum repair used to be specialized....
