This is calendar year sales, right? So you could sell both MY23 and MY24 in CY23 to boost the numbers, I assume.

Yes this is calendar year sales. So in September/October ...new 2024 models will start to account for sales. It's not separated so we won't know which is which

I know target production is August for a fact but could be later this month too which means first cars could hit around September

Canada Q2 numbers are out 144 sold APR-JUN total of 305 Year to date

according to Nissan Canada they only sold 4 in 2022 so thats 309 total

which brings us to roughly 1524 North American Zs accounted for out of the estimated 2200 built for 2023. no clue about mexico and if the handful cars that went to PR and Guam are included but close enough

Yeah I thought it was a typo

Those had to be the dealer demos that were sold some of you guys mentioned

They didn't even bother to change the name

haha I bet you the majority of those sales are from dealers to re-sellers/"auto salons" and other dealerships that are the ones selling for the 70-100k lol

I know my dealer managed to go out some how and purchase a Z from another source, and are trying to flip it for 78k. So, I guess those technically count as sales figures too

The silver lining is if production stays low the rarity will probably help the Z hold onto its resale value.

It'll be interesting to see if Nissan reduces Z production throughout 2024 based off their dealership network's inability to sell in this depressed car market. Nissan not offering incentives on Zs, leaving it up to Dealers to figure a way out with Dealer discounts instead. Wonder if some dealers are already or will be refusing allocations...I see Mossy Nissan in Oceanside CA has 4 Zs sitting on their lot, can't sell, and have 3 more in-transit...so they will have 7 Zs sitting unsold until they figure out how to sell (lower prices?). "Call to unwrap Mossy Price" isn't working...

Even Nissan of Riverside has a few in stock or in transit, I’m waiting for MSRP or I’ll even accept $10 over ✌?

The market is still correcting downward and the dealerships are flooded with vehicles they can't sell, we are on our way back to the standard deal being done below MSRP. I hope Nissan builds as many Zs as they can in 2024 so we have a huge stockpile to choose from around this time next year. Then I think I'll use a car broker to scour the country and negotiate the best deal on my exact spec and ship to my door, without me setting a foot in a dealership or speaking with a salesperson...I like the sound of that idea.

Can't figure out how to sell? Have they tried asking for a non bullshit price? Lol probably still marked up quite high and they sit wondering why they aren't selling.....
