  1. Nissan’s Christian Meunier states Z NISMO with manual transminssion is coming

this is a silly argument. There is a rumor of a manual nismo z. I hope people buy it. I hope people buy every Z made so they keep making them
  2. Nissan’s Christian Meunier states Z NISMO with manual transminssion is coming

I found the recaros used on ebay. These are real prices I can pay right now. Just some simple google search when I should be working. But yeah there are a lot of pieces I can not even find.
  3. Nissan’s Christian Meunier states Z NISMO with manual transminssion is coming

I got curious at the comments and started actually pricing Nismo Z oem parts. I did not get far to get to $13k. Still did not price suspension, mounts, extra cooling, etc. What does this mean? Not much. I see someone keep saying they can build it cheaper so I kind of wanted to know. You could...
  4. Road Atlanta Post Weekend Report

I love you are putting mileage on and tracking the car. Using it like it was meant to be. Also happy to hear it has been durable.
  5. From Performance to NISMO

I like manual in the canyons (art) and paddle shift on the track (science). I have both.
  6. 2024 OHLINS suspension tuned by NISMO JP (53110‐RPZ45)

I'll stop by and talk to them. It's near me.
  7. Z Nismo front brake pads near VIR

Yeah. The OEM Dunlops are proving to be decent tires for dual use. I like the steering feedback and how they communicate. But I also know this is true of the AD09. I suspect I could flip a coin and would be happy with either choice.
  8. Z Nismo front brake pads near VIR

Bringing up an old thread. Trying to decide on this same thing. AD09 or back to oem Dunlop for next set of tires in stock sizes. I know the AD09 is good balance for an endurace 200 for street and track use. Did anyone ever try this? There is also the Goodyear Supercar 3 that is the oem tire...
  9. A trip down memory lane with the 300ZX vs Dodge Stealth R/T by Car & Driver.

One of my best friends has had a 94 Dodge Stealth since the late 90's. I was with him when he bought it. It has evolved over the years to make 800awhp.
  10. Nissan Z Nismo Track Marketing Lie?

I agree with this review. I also have not needed more than the "traction" mode on the track. This is the first car I have ever left traction mode on, and it really does not bother me at all. It gives me plenty of room for slip angle and to play at the track and canyons.
  11. MPG after 7,000 miles

Me too. I had to go change mode and look.
  12. Heresy: softer suspension on Z Nismo

I will remember this. I cannot attest to having known the distinction before. I looked it up and I see it is damping, not dampening.
  13. MPG after 7,000 miles

I am getting 27 on long highway trips and 19 in commute and stop and go driving. I was surprised as it is better than I expected.
  14. Heresy: softer suspension on Z Nismo

Agree with this. My experience is that spring rate is not as crucial as shock tuning for ride quality. With good shocks you can run stiff springs. But that also costs money. I have Ohlins on my Abarth 124 with springs 3x stiffer than stock yet rides way better. I feel the rear of the Nismo is a...
  15. Moving across the country. Would you drive or ship your Z?

The road hazard argument is odd to me. I see wrecks every day on my way to work and home. I feel there is a bigger risk driving in traffic on the highway at home then I would on the open road. Driving cross country is the single greatest adventure you can make in a sports car. I drove a Lotus...
  16. Moving across the country. Would you drive or ship your Z?

It is a car. Drive. One-way trips are the best. Make the most of it and visit the country during these summer months.
  17. BC Racing Spring Rate recommendations.

I'm running ohlins on my other car. Considering the same on the Z. I was curious why Nissan, or anyone for that matter, would use an inboard spring? Is this a heavy car thing?
  18. BC Racing Spring Rate recommendations.

There are several threads asking for the stock NISMO spring rate and thus far none have been answered. Nice insight on spring rates for someone like me who is new to inboard springs. What is the advantage to even doing this?
  19. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

@mikecarpage I need to find these same events and shows. I rarely see other Z's in the bay.
  20. Longest road trip on your Z?

From Dallas Texas to San Francisco by way of Oklahoma city. Most of my miles are from long trips. It's a good car for a road trip. I highly recommend it.
