Stealerships should only be used for warranty/recall service. I've worked at 4 of them. Their not even to be trusted with an oil change. Of course not all of them are like that. If you buy enough cars from them they'll treat you like a king.
And I thought it was just me feeling that. When I select vent/floor the floor air is always warmer. It's not bad enough that I'm going to let those clowns tear into it.
Good Advice. Even though the oil I recommend does not show an API rating, it in fact exceeds all of said ratings. For documenting purposes you can refer to this on the M1 site for this oil's specs.
My info comes from many years of being on the site "bobistheoilguy". The short version would be calling M1's customer support. The whole AFE M1 line is designed to improve MPG. The only way that can happen is for it to shear down by design and or spec it to the lower side of said viscosity.
Been using M1 0-30 AFE in all my cars. Did a oil sample on the Z with 6k on the oil. First, keep in mind this oil intentionally shears down to a 20wt. The report showed it at the minimal number for a 20wt. That's fine for my other cars that are NA. Now I'm running the M1 5-30EP with no...
Yes, This would be in reference to a factory suspension. Center all the specs on the alignment chart and match from side to side. The car will handle as the Engineers designed it to. This will also produce optimal tire wear and fuel mileage when you're railing the car. I've had this type of...
I find my car well planted at 130+ speeds. Even throwing the anchor out at said speeds is fine. I contribute this to not a precision alignment but a very good one and proper tire inflation. I'm very acclimated to these speeds from when I road raced motorcycles. I would encourage anyone to take...
I'm coming up on 20k. No drag or drifting. Alot of high-speed touring with hard pulls. The factory min/max alignment specs might be good enough on a nonperformance vehicle but cars like the Z need more dialing in. They pay a tech to perform a PDI on every car delivered. Unfortunately removing...
I have the spoiler off my car. About an inch of paint got rubbed off on the top LS. Other than that there is no other damage. I tried to touch it up but didn't like the results. 200.00 Plus shipping.
