Looking at those nice clean photos of your Z undercarriage, have you thought about any rustproof coating on the underbody? Or maybe in your location it's not much necessary?
Here in Chicagoland (salt city), I avoid driving my BRZ during winter, whenever the roads are salted. Under my 4x4s and...
Nice photo. My first car was an old 1965 Mustang, I got for $900. Had a lot of fun with that car, cut my teeth on it learning how to pull engines/transmissions and work on a vehicle.
Dang, a little grenade just went off this morning, in my email in-box. Courtesy of Ford Motor Company - apparently my long lost 2-door manual transmission Bronco just got scheduled for production. Now I've got to come up with 30k for the Bronco by April!
So my dreams of a Nissan Z might have...
There have been so many predictions and deadlines missed, I won't believe any of you get a Z by May, until it actually happens. (I sincerely hope it happens this time.)
That would be nice if availability works out that way. Figured I wouldn't be in the running until 2024. Only thing is, what I found with Ford Broncos is as suggested above, the online price can turn out not the actual selling price.
Either way I'll be looking outside of the Chicagoland area...
Actually, after encountering too many modified, clapped out and abused BRZs when looking for one to purchase a few years back ... finding one owned by a female who clearly took good care of it and hadn't been racing around, was a selling point for me.
If you get a Z, will you let your son drive it? :)
Our used BRZ, was kind of a "joint venture", between myself and two sons. I made them each kick in $1500, for some equity ownership, hoping to make them more inclined to take care of it. So far so good (knock on wood). They've driven it all...
A good reason to err on the side of caution, and have strong environmental protections. Because it can be so hard to clean up once the horse has left the barn, and these contaminants are in the soil and waterways.
"Eating just one serving of freshwater fish each year could have the same effect...
Has anyone found a Z at a Chicagoland dealership? I still haven't seen this vehicle in person! You'd think a large metro area like Chicago would have one by now.
The best thing about the reality TV entertainer, is making fun of him (and watching his supporters get tweaked about it). I'm not giving up that enjoyment, it's the gift that keeps on giving, lol.

The guy might as well have orange hair at this point, the way he's overexposed, with little fingers and opinion on all manner of things. Weren't electric cars and space vehicles enough? Probably he's turning off some potential buyers, glad I sold off a portion of my Tesla stock a while back.
A libertarian friend of mine always jokes, when the last ditch argument for doing something becomes "do it for the children", then watch out for trouble, lol.
It's interesting the reviewer aligns the Z to the Mustang GT350, and claims the Z is "more muscle car than canyon carving sports car".
I'm partial to the 86/BRZ, because my BRZ introduced me to the fun of sports cars and nice pavement handling. And so far it's been such a fun and surprisingly...
I got hit by one of those AU speed cameras while visiting Sydney area. Got the ticket several months later mailed to me in the USA - and it was no small amount!
In the USA front plate seems hit or miss. My buddy drove for years with no front plate on his Jeep Wrangler, even though his state of...
I did not care much for the Supra appearance in photos. But recently I saw one on the highway, and drove near it for a while viewing from different angles, and to my eye it looked better in person. Still not necessarily my cup of tea, but I can see now why people like it.
Thanks for the review, especially since it's a Sport version, which has gotten less press compared to the Performance.
Good to hear about the general performance and daily driving. As kind of a luddite, the interior and tech aspects aren't all that important. And I nearly always end up...
Normally I don't care much what other people are doing ... until it starts impacting what I want to do. Given the limited supply of some vehicles, these customers bogarting multiple vehicles is not so cool.
I can see why a company might want to reduce that activity, to make max customers happy...
